As a Senior Manager, Sourcing - Entertainment, your expertise, vision, and strategy will allow you to create businesses in the Televisions, Projectors and Connectivity categories at Walmart. You'll have the opportunity to develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products while also working with Product Developers to create new and innovative products. You'll work directly with Merchants to ensure critical business metrics are met while influencing future growth strategies to help our customers Save Money and Live Better.
What you'll do:
Collaborate to set the sourcing strategy for Private Brands: You'll establish sourcing strategy for sustainable success, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision, innovation and creativity to impact the customer experience for Walmart US and International Markets.
Build relationships: You'll use your influencing, negotiation and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, merchants, product development teams and other business partners. You'll represent greater Entertainment Sourcing Team in Home Office in a close collaboration with the director, peers and associates.
Influence decisions: You'll collaborate with merchants and product development teams to influence decisions about nearly every aspect of your products including supplier matrix, geography of excellence, cost structure, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, replenishment, supply chain, and pricing.
Design, develop, and launch products: You'll work closely with Product Development team to create new products and roadmap for Private Brands.
Every Day Low Costs/Prices: You'll create and ensure a healthy and dynamic supplier matrix by identifying and evaluating new and existing suppliers based on performance metrics and long-term potential. You'll plan and create partnerships. You'll incorporate company strategies into alignment decisions. You'll negotiate with suppliers to obtain products at lowest sustainable costs. You'll ensure cost keys are accurate. You'll oversee factory capability and capacity, product quality, and on-time delivery. You'll understand buying objectives and specification, components, component suppliers (upstreaming), production, capacity and communicate with suppliers.
Be a category expert: You'll have market intelligence, know your private brand customers and suppliers better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your business. You'll demonstrate awareness of global trade and political developments for assigned geographies.
Develop, empower, coach and digitize: You'll lead a diverse team of associates located in Asia and Americas, and establish a high performing and motivated sourcing team. You'll apply digitization and new ways of working during sourcing activities; optimize strategic sourcing and procurement processes; analyze data by leveraging inhouse and third party platforms/tools to build data backed proposals.

You'll make an impact if you have:
Global experience in Consumer Electronics Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement.
In-depth knowledge of the television industry, including market dynamics, product innovation, and key players.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
5+ years' experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing industry and people management (This opportunity has direct reports).
10 or more years' experience in retail or major brand, or importer/agent serving major retail customers.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
