Job Summary
Assist in the logistical responsibilities of the IPS product line. IPS is a demanding product line which often requires travel be taken on minimal notice. This individual will be responsible for frequent travel needed to support surgical cases. While traveling, ideally this individual will be able to enter the Operating Room, get to know our customers, work with the sales team to further understand their duties and responsibilities all while gaining further knowledge about KLS Martin and our products.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Potential for 50% or more travel
Work closely with the IPS Specialists to support daily activities and identifying when travel support is needed
Work with external vendors to facilitate on time verification and delivery of temporary dental prostheses
Assist the Product Specialist team with cross-references
Learn customer needs, what they value, and how they perceive products so you can market strategically and represent the customer in new product development initiatives
Apply your clinical and technical knowledge to explain key product differences & innovations through education and marketing material
In-service, maintain, sell, and present on all IPS products and associated software
Use professional verbal and written communication skills to build relationships and explain technical product information to customers, salespeople, and employees
Educate employees in the assembly, use, and maintenance of assigned product(s)
Stay current on and cross reference competitive product offering and pricing
Stay current on the standard of care and new technologies in the market in which the assigned products are applied
Work with the shipping team to resolve urgent matters related to FedEx and UPS shipping delays
Assist with Product Modification Requests (PMR) or Product Variation Requests (PVR)
Know the proper resources to process a Quote, Bill Only, Consignment, and field inventory or customer return RGA
Package & Ship products to the office or other field locations
Retrieve and Interpret Documents, Know the Quality Policy & Safety Program, Report Product Complaints and Adverse Events, Understand and Follow Off-Indication regulations
Understand KLS Martin Non-Disclosure Agreements and when to execute them
Understand government regulations and company policy on customer expense related activities
Submit expenses for reimbursement pursuant to the company travel policy
Complete Hospital Credentialing where necessary to perform essential duties
Performs other related duties as assigned.
