Role: Facilities Supervisor
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Location: Deckers Brands Distribution Center in Mooresville, Indiana (near clayton)

The Role

The Maintenance Supervisor performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification, and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required. The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with AC/DC controls, PLC controlled equipment, pneumatics and with voltage of up to 480 volts. Manage minor projects. Provide training to lower grade levels.

Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, and others. Always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner.

Troubleshoot and repair controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies and all other field devices associated with the conveyor system.

Your Impact


  • Under minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves, and setups and other facilities related tasks.

  • Under minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.

  • Document all work order activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing of work orders to provide documented records of the maintenance performed.

  • Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.

  • Complete pass down logs to inform co-workers of the operational status of the facilities.

We'd love to hear from people with


  • 6-8 years industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls, and operating systems of a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.

  • Experience working around pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems

Functional Competencies:


  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals

  • Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC

  • Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities

  • Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter

  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus

  • Conversational Spanish skills a plus

  • Experienced with hand and power tools

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

  • Experience in using Microsoft Outlook and Word programs

  • Multi-task in a fast paced work environment that has a strong customer focus.

  • Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner.
