Summary:



Joe DiMaggio Children's is a leader in pediatric healthcare in South Florida and beyond. As a full-service hospital, we treat minor illnesses, trauma-related accidents and some of the most complex medical conditions.


The Infant Nutrition Manager will oversee all Infant Nutrition Lab duties. This vital position will provide oversight and clinical skills necessary for the daily operational processes and coordination of all Infant Nutrition Lab activities. The Infant Nutrition Manager is responsible for ensuring that all patient feedings are produced in a safe environment following industry standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.



Responsibilities:



Supervision and competency oversight of Infant Nutrition Techs.Coordinating, promoting, and providing clinical nutrition services for the Infant Nutrition Lab.Coordinates all Infant Nutrition Lab activities related to storage, preparation and distribution of human milk and infant formula.Hiring and onboarding of new Infant Nutrition Techs.Oversight of performance improvement initiatives within the Infant Nutrition Lab.

Additional Job Information:



Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required. Required Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Dietitian.
