Job Description:

Our GFL team is expanding, and we're looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to join us in Houston, TX. As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales team and help improve efficiency as sales volume increases. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with larger customers, ensuring that all sales documents and agreements are completed before they are filed and updating the customer contact information as needed.

A "Day in the Life" of an Inside Sales Coordinator



  • Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines


  • Update customer records in the company database as required


  • Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company


  • Able to assist with and diagnose customer service issues, this includes contacting clients to obtain missing information


  • Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time


  • Write and check accuracy of CSA's





Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred


  • 2+ years' sales support experience


  • Strong computer literacy with beginner to intermediate level expertise with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required


  • Knowledge of our Trux/Tower data is an asset


  • Knowledge of CRM software is an asset


  • Communicate important feedback from our customers


  • Excellent organizational skills


  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment


  • Works well in a team-oriented environment
