Quality Engineer job in Greensboro, North Carolina is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace/Defense company. In this job you will apply quality functions in one or more production shops, design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. To qualify for this job you must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Summary: Lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring precision in production processes, equipment, and finished products through inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Design and implement quality protocols for materials processing into finished products.
Review documents, drawings, and instructions for compliance with quality requirements.
Perform audits, assign corrective actions, and verify their implementation.
Analyze production data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to quality standards.
Monitor and witness test activities, comparing defects to standards, and ensuring proper rework.
Provide solutions to quality-related issues and contribute to multiple project reviews, including technical and peer design reviews.
Qualifications:
Citizenship: U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security clearance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience or a Master's degree.
Experience:
Production manufacturing quality engineering, reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for compliance.
Strong knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
Expertise in engineering methodologies and relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and instructions for quality conformance.
Ability to communicate quality issues, findings, and corrective actions both in writing and verbally.
