Job Title: R&D Supply Analyst

Department: 4341

FLSA Status: Exempt

Overview:

As a R&D Supply Analyst within our Research and Development team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations by managing licenses, supplies, and financial details. Your primary focus will be on optimizing procurement processes for R&D, maintaining accurate records, and supporting efficient lab operations across all sites. Additionally, you'll handle software licenses for our R&D development and test teams.

Responsibilities:
Supply Management:


  • Collaborate with internal suppliers and our internal procurement team to interface with external suppliers to meet the supply needs of all R&D sites, primarily supply to our labs.

  • Purchase supplies efficiently while adhering to budget constraints.

  • Collaborate with Lab Management to monitor inventory levels and anticipate and forecast demand to prevent shortages.

  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies to all locations.

  • Submit purchase requisitions promptly, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.

  • Partner with the finance team to track expenses and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Monitor spending against allocated budgets and provide regular updates.

Documentation and Financial Tracking:


  • Maintain detailed records for every purchase made on behalf of R&D teams.

  • Document item details, quantities, vendors, and costs accurately.

  • Reconcile invoices, track payments, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Generate quarterly reports on procurement activities and spending for teams.

License Management:


  • Oversee software licenses used by R&D development and test teams.

  • Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, legal and procurement departments to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

  • Monitor license usage, renewals, and updates.

  • Assist teams in optimizing license allocation and usage.

Process Improvement:


  • Continuously evaluate procurement processes and identify areas for enhancement.

  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce costs.

Vendor Relationships:


  • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal suppliers and procurement team.

  • Seek opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or experience in a related field.

  • 3 + years in supply chain, or vendor management experience

  • Familiarity with software licensing is advantageous.

- Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Analytical mindset for financial tracking and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $24.62 - $37.02. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
