The VP, Business Information Officer builds and manages strategic partnerships with executive leadership in a dedicated and significant sized business operation to develop and implement organizational strategies that optimize the performance and overall effectiveness of technology
Responsibilities:
Builds and manages strategic partnerships with executive leadership in a dedicated and significant sized business operation to develop and implement organizational strategies that optimize the performance and overall effectiveness of technology
Serves as a the dedicated consultant to assigned executive leadership on technology related issues by facilitating discussions and acting as a strategic partner
Collaborates with executive leadership to diagnose current, and anticipate future, technology challenges; Works with COEs to pitch and develop solutions that effectively address these challenges
Oversees a team who designs, builds, and support Technology solutions to meet changing business demands
Works with managers to develop and monitor individual and departmental goals and provides effective feedback and guidance on a regular basis; holds managers accountable for meeting these goals
Leads effective performance management and professional talent development across all respective departments
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar's reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Ensure all activities are in accordance with Cenlar's approved risk appetite statement and applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
12+ years of relevant experience across a broad range of technology disciplines with 5+ years of management experience
Knowledge of mortgage servicing preferred
Ability to successfully drive and execute on multiple critical projects simultaneously; Must be able to work with multiple project teams simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate process/business recommendations
Proven negotiating skills, demonstrated collaborative and consensus building strengths
Experience leading risk management and internal control functions, including what constitutes effective control design
