Title: Sr Technical Support Specialist - Gas Operations
Reporting to Supervisor, LNG Plant

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $60,226 to $74,283
Position Overview:
Use full range of administrative and technical knowledge and experience to assist and support management in meeting the objectives and responsibilities of the LNG and LP Plants to assist the team to achieve and exceed their established goals. Organize, compile, summarize and analyze data/statistics and produce a variety of reports. Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of computerized and other data. Perform mathematical calculations and manipulate statistical data. Maintain confidentiality of all written documents and sensitive discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilizing SAP create all necessary documentation for the complete, accurate, and timely purchase and payment of goods and services for the LNG and LP groups.
Independently prepare and review all documentation for the purchase of goods and services.
Reviews documentation for accuracy, and researches and resolves complex issues and discrepancies, and proactively monitors workflows in SAP.
Key liaison for both internal and external customers, Procurement, and the Purchasing groups.
Accurately develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and files that are critical to the day-to-day operations of the Construction and Engineering groups.
Enter and retrieve information requested to assist in budgetary and regulatory filings. Run reports and queries that are required for budgetary and regulatory filings.
Prepares, records, and reconcile all financial accruals for the LNG and LP groups with minimal supervision.
Prepare and assemble documentation required for State and Local code requirements applicable to the LNG and LP Plants.
Six years of business-related experience required. Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management and non-management employees. Ability to effectively and accurately organize large quantities of critical information that affect multiple constituencies. Ability to interact professionally with co- workers, management, other Divisions, and organizations outside of UIL, including customers. Ability to utilize analysis and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Ability to speak in front of emergency management personnel during company sponsored training sessions.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and working as a team member.

Qualifications:
Requires an Associate's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline
Must have knowledge of business math and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes, and HOD.
Familiarity with database applications is required. Experience with some advanced software applications may be required.
