Volt is immediately hiring Lab Tech 1 in Greenville South Carolina with a well-known industry leader. For this role you will need to be able to work 12 hour shifts (Day/Night schedule of 2 On/2 Off/3 On/2 Off)
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech 1 you will:
Record and organize test results and issue test reports.
Be responsible for test routines, test schedules, collecting and processing test data and reporting. Must follow established test procedures.
Operate and maintain lab equipment.
Work independently and with Quality Assurance and development engineers / technicians.
Experience working in ISO-9001 registered environment.
Ability to interpret Statistical Process Control charts (SPC).
Estimated Duration 24 + months.
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions
Ability to lift 20 lbs above shoulder height
Abilit to stand/walk for around 75% of shift
Basic Computer skills
Preferred Skills: ASQ Certification as a Quality Technician
Pay Rate:$22.13 per hour
