The Contracts Intern will administratively support the Contracts Administration team. This is a temporary position. This person will need to work within the Central time zone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Attends meetings / calls for internal discussion on contract matters to resolve questions and find resolution
Coordinates with other departments to ensure approvals and contract requirements are being addressed
Uses an array of business software applications (e.g., Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint and company systems, DocuSign and new contract software systems
Performs final execution of contracts, using DocuSign and follows up
Flexible to do a variety of task as assigned.
Updates and maintains the invoice and billing tracker, contracts status in the company contract database -, send out confirmation emails to appropriate parties, as needed
Facilitates contracts negotiations between outside legal team and clients
Communicates contracts status updates with internal stakeholders and functional teams
Serves as point of contact for contracts requests and amendments assigned
Meets deadlines while producing quality results
Provide training/mentoring to other members and company departments as needed
Provides coverage for others in the department as needed
Administrative duties as needed to complete job duties
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Performs other duties as asigned
Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements
Qualifications
The Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration, pre-law, paralegal or related major.
At one year of experience working in a corporate office environment
Able to consistently work within the Central US timezone
Authorization to work in the US for any employer, indefinitely, without sponsorship
