Hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-7:30PM (no nights/weekends/on call/holidays)
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Compensation: $44-48 based on education/experience
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Assist VA Cardiologists during catheterization.
Prepare patients pre- and post-procedure.
Understand cardiac meds, rhythms, ACLS, triage, and IV admin.
Know Acute Coronary Syndrome, Pneumonia protocols, and emergency responses.
Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate veteran care.
Work with guidance from the Nurse Manager/designee.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associate's degree or BSN or MSN
Nurses must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the US. All licenses should be held fully valid and without restriction.
Minimum of 2-years critical care experience within the last 3 years.
