Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Willmar MN area to find an Industrial Engineer for their team. This role plays a huge part in equipment upgrades, new line installation, efficiency of production lines, and overall efficiency of the plant. The right candidate needs to have a strong background of implementing lean initiatives in a company with an engineering mindset.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continually improve manufacturing processes and products.
Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables the plant to reach KPIs
Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the plant
Actively participates with teams and with teammates to provide improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity
Manage and execute new equipment installations, equipment capacity analysis/utilization, labor planning, which includes construction and implementation of labor standards, ergonomic improvements, productivity improvement and standard labor cost construction
Develop standardized work practice sheets
Provides the plant operations groups with solutions on equipment layouts and plant capacities
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
2+ years of Engineering Experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of CI, Lean Manufacturing
