Work Hours: 40 hours/week; flexible, primarily 8am - 5pm M-F
Role Overview:
This role reports to the Director of IFP Product Operations and works alongside a team of Product Managers and Sr. Product Managers
The team comprises product and benefit subject matter experts responsible for interpreting and implementing IFP benefits.
Collaboration with cross-functional partners across Policy and Coverage, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Benefit Configuration teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with IFP Product team members to ensure accurate, clear, and consistent benefit requirements across new and existing states.
Facilitate the intake, triage, and management of Product Operations work items, ensuring a healthy backlog and throughput of work.
Partner with the Product Operations leadership team to develop metrics and status reports. Create and publish comprehensive reports on IFP product and benefit implementation progress and risks routinely.
Develop standard operating procedures and other process documentation in collaboration with the Product Operations leadership team.
Work with Product, Operations, Clinical, and Configuration teams to achieve benefit implementation solutions that align with business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in health insurance/managed care in areas such as product implementation, benefit operations, or project management.
Experience working collaboratively across multiple functional areas within a health insurance/managed care organization (e.g., operations, configuration, claims, regulatory affairs, clinical, product).
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive progress in a highly-matrixed organization.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience identifying, developing, and driving process improvement initiatives.
Experience in benefit/coverage/regulatory policy review and development.
Working knowledge of ACA market requirements (e.g., essential health benefits).
