This role is critical in optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct in-depth investigations to identify root causes of equipment failures and develop cost-effective solutions.
Develop and maintain training programs to ensure optimal equipment operation.
Create standardized repair procedures and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for equipment.
Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance data, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
Initiate reliability projects to address critical equipment issues and optimize performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment redesigns for improved reliability.
Analyze vibration analysis reports and work with experts to assess the health of critical equipment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operations and maintenance teams.
Leverage predictive maintenance technologies to reduce unplanned downtime.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP.
Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with reliability engineering tools and techniques.
Knowledge of management of change (MOC) procedures.
Familiarity with distributed control systems (DCS).
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
