General Summary (What is done and why)
The Operational Reporting Analyst should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, results driven, team environment. They will focus on accurately analyzing and gathering report requirements, collecting data, and creating insightful reporting/dashboards/visualizations to answer business questions. This person will assist in managing the requests from our internal business customers providing operational support and data gathering. This includes generating list for data cleanup, reporting for operational efficiency, as well as continued report management throughout the report life cycle. The analyst should have a basic understanding and basic ability to query and work within a database. In addition, the candidate should display curiosity, creativity, and be a good problem solver, organizer, and time manager. Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from prolonged work at the computer. Deadlines, workloads, and pressure to achieve goals may cause increased stress levels. Ability to lift an average of 35 pounds may be required when moving boxes of printed materials.
Working Conditions (Typical working conditions associated with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position)
Internal - Work is normally performed in climate- controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines or special meetings.
External - Some travel is required; however, information on environmental conditions is not available.
