Work in a small, but fast-moving team environment with a short turnaround time for getting trucks and trailers ready for the next morning's routes. Duties performed by the team include basic servicing to maintain the equipment, performing brake jobs, doing trailer repairs, clutch adjustments and repairs, cooling system repairs, and more. Internal, on-the-job training is done to help improve the team, and additional outside training may be available as training opportunities come available with our partners, or as needs dictate.

5-Day Work Schedule (with overtime potential)
Day hours: 8am - 5pm (Monday – Friday)
Evening hours: 10pm - 7am (Sunday – Thursday)
4-Day Work Schedule (with overtime potential)
Day hours: 7am - 6pm (Monday – Thursday, or Tuesday-Friday)
Evening hours: 2pm – 1am (Sunday – Wednesday, or Monday-Thursday)
$500 annual tool allowance
Pay scale is $22-31/hr, depending on experience
Eligible for insurance the first of the month after 60 days! Extremely low rates for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Solid overall benefits package.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Repairing and maintenance of fleet vehicles, ensuring meets safety and performance requirements.
Servicing of fleet vehicle per required schedules
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues and make necessary repairs, adjustments or replacements.
Performing roadside repairs and adjustments
Performing routine housekeeping duties to ensure working location and equipment are in order and not pose safety hazards
Ensuring the safety devices on vehicles are in good order
Other duties as necessary
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
Regularly performing work requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areas
Other Requirements:
1 year of experience performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engine vehicles, equipment and related components is preferred
Ability to use repair manuals, online services, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
Valid driver's license, CDL preferred, for roadside assistance help and to test drive equipment as necessary
Good driving record
Basic computer skills
Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks
Required Education:
High school or equivalent
