A day in the life.
As our Client Manager on the Surety team, you'll assist with the preparation and execution of Commercial bonds (license, court, misc. bonds), including collecting data, completing necessary forms, and preparing correspondence. You will service and market new and renewal Commercial Surety accounts, process general indemnity agreements, maintain power of attorney filings and bond supply, and build and retain relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Assists producers with new and renewal business in accordance with agency standards and workflows.
Handles all aspects of client requests for commercial and miscellaneous bonds.
Prepares and executes commercial and miscellaneous bonds to clients.
Correspond with surety company underwriters for approvals and other related matters.
Set up and maintain client information in the agency management system.
Continually follow up with clients for underwriter-requested information and file items.
Processes billing and invoices for new business, renewals, and cancellations and maintains proper account documentation.
Works in conjunction with the Accounting Department to resolve accounting issues on Bond accounts, including discrepancies and collections.
Works closely with surety companies on any discrepancies in premiums or commissions.
Maintains Power of Attorney filings including supply thereof and supply of bond numbers.
Aids other surety employees and performs various administrative duties for the Bond Department.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
Five (5) or more years insurance experience in both Contract and Commercial Surety
Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to set and recognize priorities.
Proficient use of agency software such as Sagitta, Image Right, Surepath, and Microsoft Office products
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
