Reporting into the Director, Business Operations - Audit & Controls, the Manager, Business Operations - Audit & Controls, will help shape the first line of defense for the Walmart Connect organization.

In short, you will help build risk mitigation strategies for Walmart Connect and help implement internal controls to ensure mitigation. Working collaboratively, you will identify and prioritize risks, determine whether those risks are adequately mitigated, and act as remediation stewards ensuring that the solutions we recommend address root causes sustainably.

What you'll do:

Consistently apply data analytics approaches to drive efficiencies, assess and monitor risks, develop process reviews, build, and analyze hypotheses to solve complex business problems or assess processes and controls in an audit context, and recommend action plans.
Identify technical IT/business risks and compliance gaps, assess their impact, recommend appropriate solutions, and drive implementation thereof.
Communicate with several different teams including product, legal, engineering and other areas within Walmart, with the ability to translate technical aspects into business language.
Effectively leading by example, communicating risks, and influencing and enabling stakeholders to effectively mitigate those risks.
Looking at day-to-day operations through a holistic lens, one that effectively positions you as an informed partner.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or accounting required
5+ years of experience required
Big 4 accounting or consulting firm experience .
Digital advertising or media experience
Structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plans
Business process savvy, including an understanding of business processes, how systems support these processes, and the related risks that impact financial reporting
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership
