As a Senior Manager, Planning Management, you'll:



  • Execute all origin import fulfillment processes to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of inventory along the supply chain from origin countries to retail market's warehouse facilities.

  • Operate a broad line of business at division or country level, developing long range plans

  • Drives optimization of import fulfillment pathways for the best ROI by analyzing Walmart and supply chain partners' competencies, mitigating risks and developing contingency plans to meet changing business needs

  • Develop and build partnerships internally (cross-functionally) and externally to drive import fulfillment business.

  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure current and updated process and requirement are understood and implemented by all related parties.

  • Provide expertise and insight to associates analyzing the process and procedure of import fulfillment in order to identify cost reduction and strategic improvement opportunities

  • Drive and develop trainings to GS as well as related parties such as external sourcing agents, import suppliers and retail markets counterparts on import fulfillment process & procedures to obtain maximum collaboration.




Accountabilities of the Job:




  • Directs and optimizes supply chain execution across multiple categories/portfolio and business plans to ensure retail market is in possession of optimal inventory at highest in-stock.

  • Develops methods to deliver KPI goals

  • Influence and collaborate with different parties in sourcing organization and retail markets to ensure in-stock and inventory metrics are achieved

  • Analyze trends in financial performance and external market factors to proactively align resources to address future challenges

  • Integrate results of team analytics to influence cross-functional team decisions

  • Aligns, develops, and directs resources to achieve objectives and financial results.

  • Developing and communicating business plans and priorities with retail market to meet financial goals




  • Manage the business assigned to ensure targets defined are met and at highest customer satisfaction :

  • Manage daily execution of all import fulfillment processes and procedures and removing barriers and obstacles that impact performances

  • Manage daily inventory strategy and operations

  • Manage all functional strategies, processes, and tools

  • Evaluate and alter work processes to ensure defined targets are met




  • Engage with cross function parties, including but not limited to Integrated Planning, Sourcing, Inventory Health, Merchant Ops and Global Logistics(Internal/External) to formulate and execute strategy to drive import fulfillment business :

  • Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, projects, programs, and initiatives

  • Collaborate on corporate or divisional strategic initiatives by influencing project design; evaluating and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness




  • Formulate and drive execution of business plans and improvement projects

  • Identify customer and operation needs

  • Develop and communicate plans and priorities and provide resources

  • Identify performance standards, measure progress and adjust performance accordingly

  • Develop contingency plans




  • Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed




You'll sweep us off our feet if you are:



  • Technically accomplished in all aspects of replenishment; 4 to 6 years replenishment experience

  • Fully engaged with the retail market, suppliers, logistics, and merchants in successfully operating a board line of business.

  • Able to effectively lead projects and improvement initiatives.

  • Able to prioritize relentlessly and focus on the most important initiatives

  • Can articulate needs, define requirements and design cross-functional projects and initiatives, utilizing status to direct man hours to the issues that provide the greatest payback.

  • Considered as an outstanding manager and leader both inside and outside replenishment.

  • Strong planning and organizing skills to mobilize and leverage resources to achieve pre-determined objectives.

  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
