The Role We are seeking a skilled PEGA Software Engineer to be a key contributor to our agile software development efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing cloud-based financial applications using cutting-edge PEGA technology. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, develop automated workflows, and ensure the highest quality of code. Key Responsibilities
Work in an agile, collaborative environment to design, implement, and test cloud-based financial applications
Perform peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines
Partner with customers to develop innovative solutions that achieve business goals
Work closely with product owners to define business feature requirements
Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for supported products and environments
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 6 years of relevant software development experience
Expertise in automating workflows using PEGA software
Proficiency in working with relational databases, such as Postgres
Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-learning skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in developing Java-based software and writing unit tests and integration tests
Experience with Spring, Python, Terraform, Linux, and containerization
