Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
TranSystems is seeking a candidate with 20 plus years of experience in managing multi-disciplined teams planning passenger rail and/or transit projects in the Central Region. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects involving Bus Facilities, Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail, Heavy Rail Rapid Transit, or Commuter Rail. PE Registration required. A bachelor’s degree is required, masters preferred, and progressive positions with major transportation agencies or consultants expected. The position is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of engineers and planners working in diverse disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. The position requires good verbal and writing skills and ability to successfully interact with clients and federal agency oversight. Work includes corridor infrastructure design projects, project management, project scheduling. Some travel necessary.
