Big Ass Fans staffs a team of highly trained technicians that support our customers and installers with all of their technical needs.  The Product Support Technician is based out of our Corporate Headquarters and provides technical support via phone and email. If you love troubleshooting and helping make a customer's day, this role might be the perfect match!       

Responsibilities             


  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical, mechanical and electrical issues via telephone and email.

  • Diagnose issues and help formulate appropriate resolutions.

  • Take up to 30+ inbound calls a day.

  • Communicate emerging issues or observations to quality and control engineering.

  • Recognize and report issues and/or trends and work toward preventative measures.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to ensure customer satisfaction levels remain high.

  • Maintain customer database.

  • Partner with shipping and production teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

  • Track shipments as needed.

Requirements         


  • Must be able to meet weekly schedule Monday - Friday, multiple shifts available

  • Highly motivated and able to exceed customer expectations with troubleshooting

  • Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required    

  • 2+ years working directly with customers in either a technical sales or technical support role is preferred    

  • Strong problem-solving skills is a must    

  • Experience with building automation systems and industrial electronics is a plus     

  • Mechanical aptitude as well as a general understanding of electrical applications would provide a major advantage    

  • Experience working with Salesforce and E10.1 is a plus    

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while exceeding customer expectations    

  • Spanish speaking would be a major advantage
