Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in assembly line environment.
To paint drum exterior to quality standard and product expectations.
To set paints to correct viscosity and prepare for use into paint pump/system as required. Flush lines between colors.
To set up, adjust and maintain paint tips in paint booth.
To maintain paint guns and related equipment clean and in good operating order.
To keep the workstation and area clean and tidy.
To assist with cleaning of paint booth at end of production day.
To fill out production reports as required.
To maintain paint kitchen
Requisition gun and equipment parts as required.
To strip and overhaul automatic paint guns as required.
Requisition paint and solvents to meet production needs, rotate inventory.
To organize trial runs of new paint, lining and customer sample drums.
Will participate in Mauser Woodbridge Quality Program. Will identify problems and offer to help solve them.
To carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Will assist the company in maintaining and improving efficiencies.
Will assure all Quality requirements are met.
Will participate in Lean and MPS initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:
To set/operate and maintain assigned production equipment used to apply paint to metal containers.
To set up/check and move paint container used by paint equipment.
Other Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
To understand and become familiar with the company's policies and procedures and total commitment to its Customers, Environment, and Regulatory Requirements.
To contribute to (not to impede) the Quality Success of the Company.
To participate in continuous improvement programs for achieving Company's goals and objectives.
To recommend solutions and take initiative to correct problems, through designated channels, to prevent their re-occurrence.
Requirements
High School diploma
Mechanical aptitude
Problem solving skills.
Bilingual- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
Ability to be flexible and learn new skill sets.
Ability to operate industry manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of paint application systems a must.
Understanding quality procedures.
Ability to safely operate hand tools.
Ability to be flexible and learn new skill sets.
Must be able to work with weights to 50lb, lifting heavy and bulky objects.
Safety equipment is provided by the company.
Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
Good visual acuity - cannot be color blind.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a cold, heat environment.
