serving as a contact for HR related issues, managing the day-to-day activities, ensuring that the timekeeping system accurately records all “time worked” by non-exempt associates and paying associates appropriately,
managing the execution of personnel administration
providing support to other Publix departments and
providing clerical and administrative support for the Department Manager and supervisors, ensuring associates’ identity is protected and providing associate support.

Be at least 20 years old
have a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
be able to work nights
be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
have one year of office experience
have strong verbal and written communication skills
have strong problem solving and analytical skills
demonstrate an ability in commonly used software (for example, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access)
be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills tests (before his or her start date in the position)
be able to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks and responsibilities
be able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
be able to read, write, and solve math problems
be able to manage confidential and sensitive information
be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
current Boynton Distribution associate
have at least two years office experience
