We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to help ensure our employees are accurately compensated and that our payroll process runs smoothly. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for preparing and processing weekly payroll for our team, including reviewing timesheets, entering data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Enter payroll data into the system and verify for accuracy
Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly
Assist in maintaining employee payroll records and other HR documentation
Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
Collaborate with HR and Accounting for payroll adjustments and updates
Qualifications:
Previous experience in payroll or a related field, preferably in construction
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Familiarity with state and federal payroll regulations
