Ultimate Staffing is seeking a self-starter Field Service Support Technician (FSST) to provide exceptional customer service for a client in the Water Purification Industry.
Location: San Jose, Travel Required
Salary Range; $68,000 - 85,000 DOE

Full-time, with some overtime expectations. Must have a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
Perform on-site installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and testing tasks under supervision.
Diagnose technical problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
Demonstrate a strong desire to succeed in the field service support role.
Coordinate workflow with scheduling to ensure timely service delivery.
Produce detailed and timely service reports.
Operate company vehicles safely while maintaining an excellent driving record.
Learn and utilize the Customer Relations Management program effectively.
Follow all company procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
Understand customer requirements and provide relevant recommendations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Complete additional duties assigned by supervisors and managers, adhering to company policies and local laws.
Required Experience:
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
Flexible with work shifts and able to adapt to changing schedules, accommodating some school commitments.
Strong desire to learn new skills and achieve results.
Technical certification or relevant experience preferred.
Common sense and the ability to learn quickly are crucial, as the water purification industry is unique and welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, including plumbing or mechanical experience.
Experience with PVC pipe or general mechanical skills (e.g., changing motors, unbolting components) is advantageous.
Schedule:
The schedule is not fixed; candidates must be adaptable to various start times throughout the week, ranging from early morning (e.g., 4:30 AM) to standard office hours (e.g., 8 AM).
Work environments may include pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical labs, clinics, and industrial sites, often requiring adherence to cleanliness protocols (e.g., wearing lab coats).
