Your Opportunity
This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Process and Technical Support Engineer in Richland, WA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Framatome makes fuel for Nuclear Powder generation plants. Our specific tasks are to convert uranium feed stock to uranium dioxide powder which will be further processed to make this fuel. We also segregate, process, and dispose any hazardous and radioactive wastes that are generated on site according to governing regulations. Your work will include:
Performing process engineering functions for uranium scrap recovery processes and uranium powder production processes
Responding to emergent needs Including equipment troubleshooting, process monitoring and creating run plans and run sheets
Interfacing with multiple internal organizations to repair and replace equipment
Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations in our Richland, WA location.
Creating run plans and parameter sheets for production equipment.
Performing equipment troubleshooting and contribute to resolving equipment issues as necessary.
Providing process engineering support for uranium powder production processes and equipment.
Providing process engineering support for several uranium scrap recovery processes.
Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations.
Providing run plans and parameters for process operations
Troubleshooting equipment problems
Interfacing with other organizations to provide support as required
Working with maintenance and plant engineering to repair or replace equipment
Providing clear instructions to Supervisors regarding production operations and requirements.

Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle. Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $81,000 - $105,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
