Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Support aerospace maintenance and depot operations by managing inventory, processing materials, and ensuring efficient distribution to maintain aircraft readiness.
Perform warehouse and inventory management for the Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Gen III program, supporting the USAF logistics contract.
Receive, break down, and distribute materials from the Local Distribution Center (LDC) to designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL).
Use handheld scanners and tablets for inventory management, completing daily scans and updates.
Assist customers with material needs, researching alternative locations, and transferring materials to address work stoppages and restock bins.
Identify and process materials based on Shelf Life and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements.
Maintain stock in customer locations across multiple facilities, with daily walking required.
Support all additional tasks as assigned to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk (3-5 miles) for 8-9 hours daily.
Experience: Background in warehouse operations and customer service.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with handheld scanners and tablets for inventory management.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, shelf-life management, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices.
Preferred: Experience with AutoCribs (parts vending) is a plus.
