RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Business Applications Support.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide software support and services toclients using ASCENDER student applications

  • Provide support, conduct workshops, and handle service requests for systems

  • Interpret and report user issues to, ensuring accurate and timely communication

  • Assist in creating and maintaining an annual schedule for processing and training, while documenting software enhancements

  • Participate in user testing, communicate system updates, and ensure users are informed of enhancements

  • Monitor and troubleshoot client progress, provide recommendations, and gather feedback

  • Provide documentation and testing for software releases and submit required reports

  • Show proactive problem-solving, engage in ongoing learning, and support software improvements

  • Adapt to changing tasks with minimal supervision, aiming for high-performance standards

  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication, especially in stressful situations

  • Build collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues, supporting organizational goals and team problem-solving







REQUIREMENTS:



  • High School diploma.GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of experience in student data support, including attendance, special education, scheduling, discipline, and grade reporting

  • Proficiency in ASCENDER applications, MS Office, PEIMS submissions, TSDS collections, and standard electronic applications

  • Familiarity with state/federal laws on student data, and provided applications

  • Strong problem-solving, training, and presentation abilities

  • Available for after-hours support and flexible to travel locally and overnight as needed

  • Compliance with policies, FERPA regulations, and maintain confidentiality






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
