Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce client seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team in the Grand Rapids, MI. The client is a well-established company that will provide a hybrid work arrangement.

Duties:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS


• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders


• Compliance and Audit, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations; Coordinate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations


• Financial analysis - conduct financial analysis to identify trends


• Tax compliance - assist in filing of tax returns and to make sure all tax regulations are accurate

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field


• CPA preferred


• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience


• Technical skills - proficient in accounting software, SAP, Oracle


• Organizational skills; Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
