The Product Specialist will collaborate with Product Offering leadership for Thermal Controls with a Global focus, while maintaining visibility of global trends and opportunities. This role involves working closely with key customers, sales teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute strategies that align with market demands and customer needs.
The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting Product Offering leadership in ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators related to Thermal Controls. This role focuses on market analysis, customer interactions, and guiding the integration of Thermal Controls into broader solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback that will guide the development and integration of Thermal Controls into comprehensive solutions.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the integration of Thermal Controls into the broader portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Portfolio Integration: Work with various groups across the organization, including those outside of Thermal, to identify and capitalize on opportunities for integrating Thermal Controls into new and existing solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, regional stakeholders, and other internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of Thermal Control strategies and solutions.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to track market trends, customer feedback, and the performance of Thermal Control solutions, using this information to adjust strategies as needed.
Project Management: Support the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet the desired outcomes.
Customer and Market Insights: Provide actionable insights to Offering Managers and leadership based on customer interactions and market research, helping to shape the direction of Thermal Control offerings.
Liaison Role: Act as a key liaison across organizational teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on Thermal Control initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline; Master's Degree a plus
1+ years' related experience
Strong experience in market analysis, customer engagement, and strategic planning within the context of Thermal Controls or related industries.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on translating market insights into actionable strategies.
Experience in guiding the integration of specialized offerings into broader business solutions.
Knowledge of Thermal Management offerings and technologies
Working knowledge of New Product Development Process
Project management skills to prioritize and drive internal offering projects to completion
Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
Experience working with customers and field sales teams
Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
General understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and financial disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with general networking and protocol principles
Exposure to software development processes and concepts
Fluent in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
Programming experience a plus
Travel up to 10%
