Join our team as a Inventory Control Clerk. In the position, the Inventory Controls Clerk will support our Thermal operation by performing administrative duties to track and control inventory from receiving through the production cycle.
The Inventory Controls Clerk will:
Maintain inventory records by conducting periodic cycle counts in the warehouse and production areas to verify item quantities, review and verify material transactions entered the inventory management system, and input or upload transaction data to update the inventory management system.
Investigate errors, determine root cause, obtain approval for adjustments, and make corrections in the system.
Review inventory reports, research inventory variances, determine causes for material shortages/overages, gather supporting information and update inventory management system with corrections.
Perform month-end inventory activities such as data entry, reconciliation, and report preparation. Review reports and supporting documentation for material shortages; research and determine root cause.
Create daily inventory reports for management to cover our current materials on hand, on-time shipping and root cause of late delivery.
Conduct outside audit of the company’s outsource vendors (will require travel).

High School or better.
Experience
Required
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Basic experience using MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Meeting and SharePoint). Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.Must have very good data entry skills and attention to details.Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment while interacting with all levels of staff, with a high level of professionalism and positive demeanor. Must possess ability to prioritize items with minimal guidance and comply with the due dates.
Preferred
Experience with AS400 preferred.
