Campus Children's Center is a state licensed and nationally accredited program on the campus of Indiana University (IU) for children 6 weeks through preschool. Our programs serve IU students, staff and faculty families.
Job Summary
Part-Time Morning Teacher Aide
Assists the full-time teachers in providing welcoming, calm, nurturing environment for infants, toddlers or preschoolers.
Interacts directly with the children indoors and outdoors, singing songs, playing games, and providing or assisting with children's personal care.
Assists with some food preparation and light cleaning.
Part-Time Rest Aide
Assists the full-time teachers in creating a calm, comfortable atmosphere where children can rest.
Interacts directly with children reading stories and engaging in quiet activities.
Assists with some light cleaning.
Part-Time Lunch / Rest Time Aide
Assists with lunch set up and some light cleaning. Lunch is provided.
Assists the full time teachers in creating a calm, comfortable atmosphere where children can rest.
Interacts directly with children reading stories and engaging in quiet activities.
Part-Time Afternoon Teacher Aide
Assists the full-time teachers in providing safe and engaging experiences for children.
Interacts directly with the children indoors and outdoors, singing songs, playing games, and providing or assisting with children's personal care.
Assists with some light cleaning and room closing preparations.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED of GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Previous related experience

Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
Working Conditions / Demands
This position required the ability to move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
