Position: Account Coordinator



Department: Sales



Work Location: Cortez, CO, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)



Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.



What you will be doing:



The Key Account Coordinator focuses on handling an identified portfolio of key accounts to both support and increase sales through outstanding service. Responsibilities include detailed processing and follow-through of orders & forecasts, closely monitoring monthly forecasts & sell-through performance while resolving opportunities for additional sales growth. The Key Account Coordinator also provides analytical and order management support to the territory rep as well as facilitating the new account opening process for future retailers. The Key Account Coordinator is an Osprey product expert - maintaining product knowledge, technical skills and selling enthusiasm of the entire Osprey product line.


  • Handles all orders for identified Key Accounts including forecasts, preseason, promotional, sample, ASAP and closeout orders from order entry to direct shipment.


  • Coordinates timely preseason order and forecast collection/review while providing analytical support to Associate Director of Sales.


  • Works with Associate Director of Sales in analyzing and forecasting monthly sales for Key II accounts and forecast updates.


  • Analyzes & forecasts the inventory needs of Key Accounts in the monthly demand planning buying process.


  • Diligently handles forecasted & reserved inventory for Key II Accounts.


  • Delivers extraordinary customer service to key accounts through detailed communication and follow-through.


  • Analyze Key II assortments and seasonal quantities in order to help run their business and facilitate appropriate demand planning signals.


  • Find opportunities for increased sales and propose appropriate opportunities to the rep and Associate Director of Sales.


  • Monitors timely deliveries and delayed product, communicates with Key Account Buyers and Demand Planning.


  • Communicates directly with Sales Ops to improve order allocation and inventory reservation processes.


  • Uses NAV & Business Intelligence reporting to support Associate Director of Sales in providing monthly analytics to Outside Sales Reps in an effort to improve sales.


  • Proactively reviews key account performance on a weekly basis, and provides detailed reports on a monthly & quarterly basis.


  • Supports Associate Director of Sales with processing sample & promotional orders for Key Accounts and Outside Sales Reps.


  • Collaborates with Finance to expedite the new account opening process for new key account dealers.


  • Works with Fulfillment, Warranty & Returns and Finance to facilitate dealer returns, RMA's and call-tags.


  • Compile notes and analysis for monthly/quarterly business review meetings as needed.


  • Leads Go Spot Check, including crafting & assigning missions, keeping track of store locations, and monitoring and reporting on completion rates by territory/account.


  • Participate in other special projects or company initiatives as assigned.


  • Preserves detailed records of all Key Account vendor partner agreements, contracts, discounts, special programs and vendor routing & shipping agreements.


  • Maintains all Key Account data in NAV as it relates to customer ship-to addresses, contacts and dealer locator accuracy.


  • Complete quarterly commission reporting for Bass Pro and Sportsman's Warehouse.


  • Lead and analyze quarterly reporting for 3P accounts.







Skills needed to be successful in this role:



  • Strong organizational skills and effective oral, written and verbal communication skills


  • Experience with account management and related ordering/sell-through/margin analysis


  • Demonstrated track record providing a high level of key account support


  • Ability to effectively engage with all internal and external partners on matters of account sales strategy and execution



  • Proficient skills with Power BI, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint







Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 3+ years' experience providing account support


  • 2+ years in sales positions of increasing responsibility/scale


  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis







Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior experience in the outdoor industry


  • Experience operating within Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP) software, as it related to Osprey's business






In Colorado, the standard base pay range for this role is $60,259.97 - $90,389.96 annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
