Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
Provide biopharmaceutics support to projects in various stages of drug development through experimental testing in a laboratory setting
Execute testing protocols including USP dissolution, solubility determination, precipitation and flux assays
Develop and execute quantitative analytical methodologies to support determination of drug content from in vitro dissolution studies
Working knowledge of HPLC and UV assay techniques, as they apply to quantitation of drugs in solution
Evaluation of novel protocols and instrumentation to address biopharmaceutical questions (e.g. real-time measurement of particle size during dissolution testing)
Document findings via an electronic lab notebook system and through technical reports
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and must be able to balance analytical rigor and resource burn with the study's goals
Qualifications

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Background in physical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics or allied disciplines also desirable
