The Denver Operating Clerk Experienced provides operational and administrative support for the Denver Branch Facilities Management department in accordance with department expectations, procedures, and standards. This position will report to the Denver administrative manager and will work closely with the Operating Clerk team, Building Operations team, and Project Management and Administrative Teams.
This position requires demonstrating increasing skills and proficiencies in some or all of the following tasks across a broad range of business functions:
Maintain department purchasing card and records, purchase department supplies and materials, manage utility bill payments and records.
Serve as primary point of contact for the Mail Room operation. Sorts and delivers mail/packages, prepares mail/packages for shipping, process and maintains mail documents, according to Bank procedures.
Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. May coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure systems/applications operate effectively.
Assist in record management using record retainage guidelines.
Conduct and maintain inventory records such as key inventories and asset management inventories.
Track and assign maintenance work/task orders to internal technician team.
Assists with fleet vehicle maintenance, registration, and maintenance records.
Vendor management/coordination such as scheduling external maintenance work, process purchase orders, scheduling background screening appointments, and maintaining vendor information records.
Performs data entry work, such as operating input devices to enter data and codes into digital files, forms, databases, catalogs, and/or various office administration systems. May periodically review data entry records/lists to ensure completion of tasks/requirements by Bank staff.
Performs document processing work including collaborating with relevant stakeholders and acquiring materials/resources and making available for use.
Prepares, records, reviews, and reports various transactions and ensures the integrity of data records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Provides information/records/documentation to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Interacts with internal and external sources using various communication methods (e.g., email, phone, systems, etc.); May be responsible for coordinating/facilitating meetings and assisting in the development of meeting materials.
May be responsible for handling high-valuable items and working with confidential information requiring confidentiality and discretion. A low-risk tolerance may be associated with the handling of valuable items, such as deviations from acceptable practices.
Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to understand and/or resolve business needs as appropriate using a customer-focused approach. May include assisting with project work and/or assignments.
Understands and applies unit/department procedures, methods, and controls associated with assigned jobs.
Evaluates current processes and recommends and develops operating efficiency improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
High school education or GED.
Intermediate understanding of business processes and subject matter.
Performs most work independently with general supervision and direction. May consult with management or more senior staff in decision-making.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using Ariba or proficiency in other procurement software.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams software.
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat or other PDF software
Strong administrative, writing, and communication skills

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $46,000 to $56,200 annually for the job level(s) required for this position. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
