If you want a job that keeps you busy and moving, then this is it! This position is responsible for picking orders in the warehouse and staging them on pallets before they are sent out on a truck for delivery. You need to be fast and accurate to ensure that the correct items are selected, and trucks are able to depart on time. Once the training period is completed, night shift order selectors are paid based on the number of pieces you can pick during the pay period - which means the harder you work, the more you make!! Most employees average between $20-25 an hour on the piece rate pay, top employees earn much more.
Night Shift: Sunday thru Thursday
Order Selector: This job involves a lot of moving through the warehouse with a rider pallet jack, and repetitive lifting for about 80% of the shift where you generally lift products that weigh 10-50lbs, and on rare occasions lift up to 100lbs. Will pick products as dictated by a pick list using a scanner which gives special instructions on what aisle to go to, which slot to select from and the # of cases or products to pick from each slot. Basic math and reading skills are needed in all positions.
Note: Dry WH temps range from 40-80 degrees by season, Perishable WH is 29-53 in the cooler, and -10 to 0 degrees in the freezer
