Position: Senior Product Manager
Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Architect the future of Walmart Sourcing by bridging engineering and business through the product development lifecycle (PDLC). Guide Walmart Sourcing products through the execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring Walmart solutions for users. Drive product development by working collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies. Provide technical input on product blueprints, roadmaps, and designs. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into technical product requirements to enhance user satisfaction. Combine qualitative user feedback and insights from data to craft a compelling product strategy. Create product examples through wire frames, interfaces, and mockups. Define and analyze metrics and inform the success of Walmart products. Manage the product roadmap for innovative Walmart products to drive Walmart's product development growth. Manage technical projects for product development and contribute to technology strategy related to software development, product position, and product use. Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly. Make the business case for applications or features that support Walmart's Go to Market processes and further Walmart's technology goal of achieving a scalable, integrated, flexible ecosystem. Evolve business, technical, and products strategy based on research, data, and industry. Identify the applications and features that will give internal teams and partners an advantage and make them productive in their daily work. Orchestrate in a prototyping mode or build for scale with a mind toward integrating data, processes, and identity across applications. Execute against product roadmaps and define comprehensive product requirements. Initiate and prioritize projects within Walmart. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience with software development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile). Experience with design thinking, User Experience (UX) design, User Interface (UI) design, Prototyping, A/B testing, data analysis and extraction, and data collection and management. Experience with product development, product planning, strategy, roadmapping using one of the following applications: Miro, ProductPlan, or Aha!. Experience with project planning and tracking using one the following: Jira or Trello. Experience writing clear and concise technical, product, and business documentation, including product requirements, product charters, Go-To Market Strategy, User Acceptance Testing, Technical Designs, and System Designs. Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform product decisions using one the following: Tableau or PowerBI. Experience with UI and UX principles and designing products that are user-friendly. Experience creating interactive prototypes using Figma or InVision. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $158,746/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
