Position: Senior Data Analyst
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Provide leadership insights by creating impactful dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau. Support strategic analyses through querying in Azure Databricks or Google BigQuery. Formulate hypotheses for addressing business challenges. Perform operations in Relational SQL, NoSQL databases, and Google BigQuery. Utilize advanced SQL skills to work with large multidimensional and unstructured data sets. Generate automated dashboards using Power Automate to deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership. Collaborate with data engineering and product management teams to develop business intelligence solutions and offer guidance to the team. Formulate tactical research plans and identify functional analytics and research objectives. Demonstrate expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) architectures for dynamic and real-time updates of dashboards. Develop advanced analytics to address unique business problems and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Provide ongoing reporting of core business indicators for daily and weekly business review reporting. Collaborate with BI and Site Analytics teams and leverage key data sets. Define acceptable time lags using data sources and establish Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Skills required: Experience creating dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau. Experience querying in Azure Databricks or Google BigQuery and formulating hypotheses for addressing business challenges. Experience performing operations in Relational SQL, NoSQL databases, and Google BigQuery. Experience using SQL to work with large multidimensional and unstructured data sets. Experience generating automated dashboards using Power Automate to deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders. Experience formulating research plans, identifying functional analytics, and identifying research objectives. Experience developing analytics to address business problems and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Experience providing ongoing reporting of business indicators for daily and weekly business review reporting. Experience collaborating with Business Intelligence (BI) and Site Analytics teams and leveraging data sets. Experience defining acceptable time lags using data sources and establishing Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $107,950/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
