The beautiful and ultra-luxury Ka La'i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts newest addition, is seeking a Concierge Supervisor.
Ka La'i Waikiki Beach spans 38 stories with residential-style suites, designed for comfort and convenience, including fully-equipped kitchens, wellness facilities designed for relaxation, an infinity pool and heated whirlpool. Our guests feel at home with thoughtful service, and tranquil spaces inspired by nature. Quiet moments fill the spa, a peaceful place inspired by Hawaii's landscape.
What will I be doing?
In support of the hotel's luxury service mission, lead and supervise the Concierge department in achieving guest service excellence. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Efficiently and accurately coordinate guest itineraries including, but not limited to restaurant reservations, activity bookings, transportation arrangements, airline/hotel accommodations, spa appointments, floral arrangements, concert/show tickets, special events and other specialized requests.
Explains guest inquiries in a pleasant, unrushed manner; always offering assistance upon the end of the guest interaction.
Responsible for addressing all guest service issues and working to satisfy all guests.
Responsible for the preparation and distribution of the Trump Beach Bag to hotel guests.
Be vigilant of activities on and around property; report any suspicious activity to hotel security.
Responsible for training new positions and the continued training/development of more senior staff.
Monitors Concierge's performance with the ability to effectively address performance issues
Perform other assigned duties related to the Concierge position as delegated by the Chef Concierge
Provide instruction and guidance for guests and employees during emergency situations
Assist with invoicing duties including reconciling to ensure accurate billing and payment of contracted vendors.
Assist with shipping requests for various couriers including USPS, FedEx, DHL, and UPS
Maintain inventory for all concierge related items including but not limited to brochures, hotel stationary, shipping supplies, etc.
Maintain a list of popular restaurants, have access to their menus and update a separate binder containing the menus of special holidays and occasions.
Maintains the operational duties in the absence of the Chef Concierge(i.e., attendance at departmental line-ups, welcoming and escorting VIP, vacation, days off etc.)

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in luxury hospitality. Bi-lingual (English and Japanese) speaking, reading and writing a plus.
