Job Summary

HdL Companies is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Event Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination and partnerships, and reporting within a B2B organization. This role will drive brand awareness, lead acquisition, and client engagement through tradeshows, events, and partnerships. This is a hybrid role to our Brea, CA headquarters.




Job Responsibilities

Planning & Strategy:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging virtual and in-person events, including webinars, industry conferences, trade shows, and client events.
  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Handle all aspects of event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, giveaway inventory, budgeting, bookings, and post-event analysis.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns related to events and partnerships across multiple channels including email, social media, content marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and business unit leaders to create compelling campaign narratives and assets.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to manage campaign workflows, audience segmentation, and personalized communication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and stakeholders.

Lead Management:

  • Work closely with the BDR and sales team to ensure effective lead handoff and follow-up.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of events and campaigns, providing regular reports, ROI, and future recommendations on optimization to senior management.

Budget Management:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with event vendors and partners.
  • Manage and track event expenditures, ensuring all events are executed efficiently and within allocated resources while achieving the best return on investment.

Client Experience:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement through excellent event experiences and communications.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong ability to measure, analyze, and report on metrics around event performance.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and proactive thinker
  • Knowledge of Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and Salesforce preferred, but not required.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in event/tradeshow coordination, preferably in B2B. Government experience a plus.

Compensation

The starting base salary for this Brea, CA position is expected to be between $26.45 to $30.42 per hour. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
