Description:
The Lead Clinical Social Worker provides social work supervisory support to the Care Management Department social workers and directs the Maternal Child Health (MCH) services (clinic, labor and delivery, high risk pregnancy unit, post-partum unit, neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric unit) social work programs in support of patient safety and in compliance with Maryland Statute and Social Work practice guidelines. The incumbent implements, reviews and revises policies and practices related to social work.
Responsibilities:
Coordination and direction of discharge planning, social services, and care coordination throughout the hospital and with outside agencies.
Social Workers assure that social services, discharge planning, care coordination needs of patients and their families are met in a patient-centered, effective and efficient manner
What you will need:
State of Maryland LGSW, LCSW or LCSW-C licensure.
Masters Degree in Social Work.
Certified as a clinical supervisor in the state of Maryland preferred.
Three or more years hospital social work experience or protective services experience.
Pay rate: $33.73 - $50.59
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
