ABOUT THE JOB



The Director, Events & Marketing Operations builds and manages effective processes and tools that enables the marketing team to produce excellent deliverables, focusing on the optimization of marketing operations and the successful execution of corporate events. This role will be responsible for all aspects related to marketing performance, marketing technology, budgeting, corporate events and processes with a goal of optimization, acceleration and simplification. This cross-functional role requires an ability to influence change and leverage tools and resources to drive operational efficiencies/scalability.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES




1. Marketing Operations:


  • Develop and implement marketing operations strategies, processes, and best practices to support the marketing team in executing campaigns and achieving performance goals.

  • Develop processes that govern internal requests, backlog management and delivery windows

  • Oversee marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools) to ensure integration, and effective usage.

  • Lead the creation and management of the marketing budget, tracking campaign expenses.

  • Vendor management, including print, promotional items, marketing tech and marketing automation.

  • Build and manage the Marketing Ops team.




2. Events Marketing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events marketing strategy, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and virtual events, to drive brand visibility and lead generation.

  • Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including pre-event promotions, event logistics, vendor management, on-site branding, and post-event follow-up.

  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align event strategies with business objectives and maximize engagement with target audiences.

  • Create and manage a post-event evaluation process to measure success, capture learnings, and optimize future event strategies.




3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the content, operations, sales and marketing team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy.

  • Partner with sales to align marketing operations and events strategies with sales goals, enabling the sales team to effectively leverage marketing initiatives.




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications and 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on marketing operations and events management, preferably in the healthcare sector or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $144,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive
