We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus for all new hires, after they reach 180 days of employment ($1000 at 90 days and $1000 at 180 days).
Pay range for the position is $26.65 - $38.05 / hr. (based on the skills and experience). There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Generalist will perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, & systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
Must have a minimum 4 years industrial maintenance experience documented in the work history section of the application.
Must have applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
Must be able to read & understand assignments
Must be able to communicate orally & in writing
Basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment.
May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems.
Rehires must wait a minimum of 90 days and must have no more than 3 rehires to be eligible for rehire.
Preferred: Vocational or College Education in Industrial Maintenance.
