Ledgent Accounting & Finance has partnered with a large privately-owned commercial and facitility maintenance firm, and is actively looking for an Accounting(AP/AR) Specialist! We're seeking someone who thrivevs in a fast paced work environment. This is a contract to hire position, onsite M-F.
Qualifications:
Experience in AR/AP, at least 2 years
Proven experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
Excellent customer service skills with a personable and approachable demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices for payment
Ensure timely payment of bills
Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies
Manage and track all receivables
Generate and send out invoices
Follow up on outstanding payments
Reconcile AR transactions and resolve discrepancies
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with the accounting team and other departments
Communicate effectively to ensure smooth financial operations
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
