Ultimate Staffing is looking for a University Recruitment and Engagement Program Manager to support a start up located in San Jose that is changing the way we track supply and has a employee first culture. SUMMARY:


This role will lead the development of our university recruitment program, create a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, and design engaging events to enhance our employee experience. This role requires a proactive, creative individual who can cultivate relationships with universities, foster a sense of community among new hires, and champion our company culture through dynamic engagement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Design and implement a comprehensive university recruitment strategy, building strong relationships with key universities and colleges.


* Develop targeted outreach initiatives, including campus events, career fairs, and partnerships with academic departments and student organizations, to build awareness of our company among emerging talent.


* Identify, attract, and engage top student talent for internship and entry-level roles through various sourcing channels, including campus recruitment events, digital outreach, and partnerships.


* Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate with hiring managers for follow-up interviews, ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience.


* Manage an onboarding program that ensures new hires have a smooth transition into the organization.


* Organize onboarding sessions, facilitate introductions, and provide ongoing support to help new hires acclimate to our culture and work environment.


* Design and execute employee engagement events and activities that foster connection, collaboration, and a strong sense of community within the organization.


* Manage regular touchpoints, team-building events, social gatherings, and recognition programs to build and sustain morale and reinforce our company culture.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education and Experience:


* Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years ofrelated experience with a Bachelor's degree


* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.


* Proficient time-management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.


* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).


* A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and decision-making.


* Ability to work independently or with a team on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.


Physical Requirements:


* Must be able to work on-site at the corporate office.


* Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time.


* Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.


* Daily repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms.


* Can routinely lift objects between 20-25 pounds.
