Our Cincinnati site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within our Pharma Services Group (PSG).
How will you make an impact?
The primary purpose of this role is to be the Utilities Project Engineer and THP (Temperature, Humidity & Pressure) CMS (Critical Monitoring System) System Owner for the Cincinnati Site. This position will support the site for daily THP issues & upgrades design & execution, PPI support & focus on Utility projects execution along with qualification & validation/revalidation (project engineer) of utility projects & equipment.
What will you do?
Serve as the Project Engineer for Mechanical Systems & Power Plant Projects, leading all aspects of design, implementation, and maintenance.
Act as a Reliability Engineer for all mechanical systems across the site.
Act as the owner of the Temperature, Humidity and Pressure (THP), CMS, ensuring its functionality and efficiency in being responsible for site's operating conditions.
Develop expertise in new equipment within the power plant/processes, including RO Skid, purified water upgrades, and THP Upgrades, to provide comprehensive coverage and technical support.
Conduct Practical Performance Improvement (PPI) of existing HVAC and mechanical equipment, optimizing efficiency and reliability.
Lead qualification and validation processes for new equipment installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Improve existing preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) procedures & job plans for existing utilities & mechanical systems.
How will you get here?
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field from an accredited college or University.
0-1 years experience in an engineering position.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge in utilities, project management and mechanical systems engineering.
Proficiency in critical monitoring systems and data analysis.
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization processes.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, equipment specifications, and submittals.
Experience with GMP and or ISO regulations preferred
Experience of Project Management Intricates
Experience or Knowledge of Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and data analysis for improving efficiency of preventive and corrective maintenance measures
Preferred AutoCAD knowledge
Preferred experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
