This position is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, status reporting, and leadership of assigned projects ranging in scope, value, complexity and subject matter. Projects may be local, regional or national, involving multiple disciplines, a broad range of people across the organization, and outside vendors. As a member of the PMO, this position also works with the team leader in the development and implementation of project processes and resources to ensure that all projects meet specified goals and requirements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Support ZRL colleagues in the management of projects and the usage of standardized project methodologies as approved by the PMO.
Under the guidance of the PMO & Program Manager, manage key strategic projects for the organization throughout the project life cycle. This will include, but is not limited to, defining project scope, objectives, and requirements; preparing and updating project documents; communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders; tracking and reporting on the project progress, performance, and issues; ensuring the project quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards and goals; and aiding teams in removing roadblocks and finding solutions.
Work with the PMO & Program Manager to define implementation standards to ensure consistency

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
This role will span multiple departments and business units and interact with various stakeholders across the Zoetis organization. This person must work closely and collaborate with multiple teams to align processes and support ZRL's overall goals. The project manager must also be comfortable leading cross-functional teams that include representatives from multiple areas of the organization. Specific groups may consist of (but are not limited to):

ZRL Technical Program Management
ZRL internal teams (Lab Teams, Facilities, Purchasing, Support, etc.)
ZRL extended teams (Commercial, Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Experience, Product Management, etc.) Vendors and Suppliers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree
Experience working in a project environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of and experience in formal project management (1-2 years)
Basic understanding of the function of a Project Management Office
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and professional behavior in all activities
Excellent team player, willing to get involved at any level or capacity to ensure the project's success
Ability to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable with public speaking in small groups
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail.
Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively prepare information for formal presentation.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to quickly learn project management software.
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work on a computer for the majority of work.
Must be able to collaborate with colleagues and work efficiently and effectively while remote.
