Job Title: Salesforce Capability Leader (Senior Principal, Director)



Slalom is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Salesforce and CRM technology services and client success. The Leader will provide thought leadership to enterprise clients, set strategic direction for project teams and practice members, drive sales pursuits, build key client relationships, and ensure the quality execution of business and technology consulting across Salesforce & CRM technology engagements.



What You'll Do



  • Drive Sales

    • Drive overall practice growth through management of pipeline and ownership of business development activities

    • Lead sales pursuits by guiding teams on content creation and proposal development, lend expertise to support sales solutioning efforts, drive estimation of delivery resourcing, and present proposals to clients

    • Coach and mentor other team members to lead and support sales pursuits

    • Identifies opportunities for application, growth, and maturation of Salesforce and CRM Technology go-to-market offerings



  • Lead & Oversee Delivery

    • Provides oversight and management of projects during delivery

    • Represent project health, financials, and manage engagement risk

    • Lend subject matter expertise to advise key client stakeholders, support deliverable content creation, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from client leadership, and support overall enablement of teams in delivery execution

    • Advises on best practices, and guides creation and use of reusable collateral as delivery templates and accelerators



  • Practice Leadership & Operations

    • Maintains formal accountability of capability area(s) for the Salesforce & CRM Technologies practice, leading definition of strategic objectives, and ensuring measured progress towards goals & priorities.

    • Maintains awareness of industry best practices and business levers for key offerings and understands how Slalom practice areas collaborate & interact

    • Supports practice talent management efforts, including support of recruiting and onboarding of new employees

    • Leads and owns aspects of operations including project staffing



  • People Management

    • Responsible for serving as formal people leader for team members

    • Supports professional development and upskilling of practice members

    • Maximize team performance through an effective people-first team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction




What You'll Bring



  • Experience managing and building relationships with leadership at enterprise scale clients

  • Technical understanding of the Salesforce including general platform architecture, and solution architecture and key benefits of Salesforce product line offerings

  • Retains active architect or Salesforce product offering certifications, or has ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

  • Expert at project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the SDLC

  • Expert business development skills

  • Expert communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience with business operations (e.g., drafting SOWs, managing staffing and utilization)

  • Experienced people leader or mentor for technical and functional team members & skillsets
